E11799 Mounting adapter
Adapters and T-pieces provide easy, fast and reliable installation of process sensors in tanks or piping systems. ifm offers a range of process connections for use in industrial or hygienic applications.
Protective devices shield the electronics, housings and displays of pressure, flow, level and temperature sensors from dirt, overheating, shocks and impacts.
Special adapters are offered in order to make the advantages of the T-slot cylinder sensor also available for all other common cylinder types. They are for the adaption of cylinder sensors to tie rod cylinders, and the sensor is protected due to the positioning in the adapter.
Thanks to the adapter range, the sensor can be easily fixed to different cylinder profiles such as clean line, tie rod, integrated profile or trapezoidal slot cylinders. The special adapter design facilitates set-up and protects the sensor against mechanical damage.
Adapters can be used to transfer table positioning, for example. The cylinder sensor can be easily inserted from above into the T-slot where it clicks home due to the innovative clamping mechanism.
For easy switch point positioning the sensor can be moved in the slot until it is fixed definitely using the slotted / hexagonal socket screw.
Another use is to monitor pneumatically actuated flat side valves open or closed silos. Using an adapter, the T-slot sensor can be fixed to almost any tie rod cylinder. It immediately clicks home after being inserted into the T-slot due to the innovating clamping mechanism.
DBI Control used E11799 Mounting adapter in a project in Stevenage, in which we helped design a conveyor system to run various sized cardboard cases through a fruit and vegetable packaging and distribution centre.
Due to the robust metal design, the E11799 can be used in harsh industrial environments, and allows easy, quick and secure mounting.
