ifm Inductive sensors
ifms Inductive sensors have the same sensing range for all types of metals.
They are for example perfectly suited for the detection of aluminium, where conventional sensors show a considerably reduced sensing range.
The high switching frequencies enable the monitoring of fast changing switching states.
The resistant stainless steel sleeve allows reliable use in oil and coolant applications.
The wide temperature range, as well as the high protection ratings, enables universal use of the new “Kplus” sensors.
ifm Inductive sensors for factory automation with correction factor K=1 have a uniform sensing range for the reliable detection of all metals, and compact dimensions so they can be used in the smallest spaces.
The electromagnetic field immune sensor technology prevents incorrect switching and they have a high reliability thanks to the high quality stainless steel housing and protection rating of IP 65 / IP 69K.
DBI Control have used the IGS289, in particular, in several of our builds as it is suitable for industrial, mobile, cooling and lubricating applications.
It can withstand harsh industrial environments, and has a correction factor of 1 which is constant sensing range on all metals.
And with its very high switching frequency and being shock and vibration resistant, the IGS289 is an ideal inductive sensor to use in our applications.
