ifm PN Pressure Sensors
After 20 years of ifms’ successful pressure sensor history, the new generation of PN sensors was developed in close coordination with the users.
Its modern and user friendly design stands out. High overload protection, an IP67 rating and the captive laser labelling make the new PN sensors your perfect partner even in the harshest industrial environments.
Although the housing size has remained unchanged, the display size has been increased once again and the two switching status LEDs on the sensor head can be clearly seen from all signs.
The 2-colour display can be switched from the indication of “red” to an alternating indication of “red – green”. So, switching states can be highlighted or an independent colour window can be created. This red/green display creates better visualisation and gives clear identification of the acceptable range.
Once fitted, the sensors offer a flexible design that allows the sensor to rotate in any direction. The new PN allows free rotation as well as any mounting position using angle brackets as an accessory. It has two switching outputs, one of them with IO-Link communication interface for extended communication.
DBI Control has used the PN7094 numerous times within our projects, as it has many benefiting features which ensure long-term stability and reliable operation.
