Rittal Filter Mats
Have the recent record high temperatures got you thinking about increased panel cooling? The best way to ensure this is to manage the risk of component failure and reduced life expectancy for your Rittal cooling solutions.
Fans and fan filters are used in every industry where heat is generated and the machinery or components around it must be kept cool.
A fan filter is an accessory primarily designed to remove any dust or small particles from the airflow of the fan. It helps with the free movement of air and helps protect the fan from any internal damage.
They provide a small passage for air to flow through whilst also stopping larger particles. Standard air filters are designed with efficiency in filtration, as they collect debris and dust. Some more complex filters remove odours and feature a charcoal element.
Preventing debris from entering a ventilation, cooling or heating system is vital in ensuring longevity as foreign objects in these types of systems can cause them to overheat and cease functioning.
If these types of filters are not properly attended to, they can become clogged. This can prevent air flow possibly causing the system to overheat and can eventually lead to equipment break down or fires.
Made of chopped-fibre mat with a progressive structure and temperature-resistant up to 100°C, Rittal provide replacement filter mats so you can regularly change them and can be provided as a separate product as part of the upkeep of your fan filter unit.
Rittals TopTherm fan and filter units and efficient, easy to assemble and versatile. The TopTherm series requires no tools during assembly, exchange or maintenance, so replacing the filter is a quick and easy task.
Regularly changing air filters is vital for health and safety and a HVAC systems longevity. If you feel like you can benefit from Rittal Filter Mats, call 01244 288138 or email info@dbicontrol.co.uk for more.
