SINAMICS V20 Converters
With the SINAMICS family of converters from Siemens, you can simply and efficiently address each individual drive application – in the low, medium and DC voltage domains.
All the drive components are perfectly harmonised and coordinated with one another. Siemens converters, motors and control systems can be immediately and seamlessly integrated into the drive train and into existing automation landscapes.
The compact SINAMICS V20 is the frequency converter for simple motion sequences. It is characterized by its short commissioning times, easy handling, and energy-saving functions. The converter with its nine sizes covers the power range from 0.12 kW to 30 kW.
The benefits of the V20 Converters are …
Simple
- Simple installation – push-through and wall mounting
- Simple commissioning, diagnostics, and service via mobile and local operator panels, as well as a multitude of options
- Easy handling – Parameter readout and cloning without power supply
Rugged
- Greater voltage range, advanced cooling, and coated electronics boards add to the robustness of the converter in tough environmental conditions
- Stable operation under difficult line supply conditions
- Operating and ambient temperature from -10 °C to 60 °C
Efficient
- ECO mode for U/f, U2/f; hibernation mode in idle state
- Integrated energy and water flow monitoring
- High overload capacity (HO) and low overload capacity (LO) for frame size FSE
The SINAMICS V20 is the perfect solution for basic applications, as it is easy to install and easy to use. It is ideal for pumping / ventilation, moving and processing.
Via the SINAMICS V20 Smart Access Module, you can wirelessly connect your mobile devices *smartphone, tablet, laptop) via Wi-Fi to the SINAMICS V20 converter series. This provides you with a powerful tool with numerous functions for wireless commissioning, diagnostics, and service.
