Installation of TEXA Cooling Units is quick and easy thanks to the simplicity of the holes to be drilled on the enclosure panel and to the fixing system, whose elements are all included in the cooling unit package.

They all lend themselves to easy and safe connection by means of rapid connectors which are inserted into the back of the unit. All the cooling units TEXA offer have ideal enclosure cooling due to the internal enclosure air; which is sucked from the top of it, cooled inside the unit and then released back into the enclosure with a high speed flow aimed towards the bottom. This ensures the optimum cooling of the entire panel and prevents any hot points inside the panel.

TEXA additionally provide a range of high performance and click in assembly fans, which can be used together with the filtering grilles to expel air from the panel. The direction of the air flow can be changed if required and they only project 5mm from the enclosure which eliminates problems with getting the panel into tight areas.

The fans are IP54 protected (an IP55 accessory can be requested), they have a reliable expected life of 30’000 working hours at an ambient temperature of 55°C and are available to provide ventilation for the main AC supply voltages. Used with the filtering grilles, they keep the hot air away from the enclosure, therefore maintaining the protection levels required to make your control panels life expectancy as long as possible.

Similarly to the fans, TEXA offer a DLK Venting Tower which is suggested as the best option when the walls of the enclosure are unavailable to use or when the rate of flow is greater than what the fans can produce. The DLK is also easy to install, has a pleasant and innovative design and, like all of Texas products, factor in a low noise level for a minimal sound disturbance for a quieter working environment.

To control the climate inside a control panel, TEXA also offer heaters – to prevent failures or corrosion by excessively low temperatures and will help keep the enclosure temperature above the minimum threshold. The WID heaters are compact, reliable and high performance with an average working life of 50’000 hours.
