Pfannenberg Heaters
Low temperatures and high humidity are the biggest dangers for electrical enclosures.
Pfannenberg heaters prevent condensate build up and therefore protect against corrosion.
As long as under load, heat dissipation from components will prevent any condensation build up.
When there is no longer any head load due to system downtime, there is a potential danger that components within the cabinet will form condensation. This varies based on the dew point.
And this is precisely where the function of Pfannenberg cabinet heaters, designed as radiant heaters and fan heaters, begins.
Pfannenbergs range of heaters includes …
- The PRH Mini series of radiant heaters, consisting of three versions with heating performance ratings and ideal for small housings or for heating of isolated spots in sensitive areas.
- Standard radiant heaters for all applications with a wide performance range according to the application.
- The FLH series of surface temperature-limited radiant heaters, typically used within building installations where accidental contact with radiant heaters inside control cabinets is possible.
- Fan heaters, ideal for outdoor applications, starts up to -40°C and with classical screw fastening.
- Fan heaters with integrated thermostat with railway certification for all sectors with increased shock and vibration requirements.
- Compact fan heaters with plastic housing for safe operation, and available in Wall, DIN-rail mounted and floor mounted.
- Compact fan heaters with additional integrated thermostat for space saving applications.
With the addition of the fan heaters with an internal thermostat for the regulation of the fan and heater, prevention of condensation in the cabinet is guaranteed.
Various performance classes of the control cabinet heaters are ideally complemented by thermostats and hygrostats from the FLZ series.
Combined, they ensure that the temperature inside the control cabinet is always correct and that the formation of condensation is prevented.
