Pfannenberg PA-5 Sounders
The Pfannenberg PA-5 is an electronic sounder with a 105 db output and 80 alarm tones. It is extremely efficient and provides good penetration of acoustical obstacles, thus significantly reducing the required number of sounds.
There are many benefits to using this product, for example the captive fastener makes installation and assembly simplified, and screws cannot get lost – an incorrect installation is virtually impossible.
The shape-moulded gasket stays in place and the sound covers a maximum distance of 32m.
The acoustic signal includes a share of low frequency side bands for excellent sound penetration of walls and doors for highly effective alarming.
Upper and lower parts of the plug and socket connections combine positively to simplify installation. When separated, electrical hazards are eliminated for handling.
There is a choice of 80 unique alarm tones with four stages of tone control for distinctive signalling of specific events.
The impact resistant housing achieves an IK08 impact rating to endure harsh environments.
The IP66 enclosure rating means it is suitable for use in all weather conditions due to the provided protection against driving rain, snow, ice and dust. It also withstands hose-directed spray during wash down requirements.
Electrical wiring is conducted in the base box to avoid clumsy 3-hand assembly. Wires are safely routed where the potential for pinching and errors are eliminated.
