Phoenix Contact PSR Safety Relay Modules
Phoenix Contact have a large selection of safety coupling relays for reliably monitoring the functional safety in your machine. The advantages include …
- Large selection of switching devices for different safety functions
- High product availability, thanks to proven safety technology
- Fast installation and start-up with user-friendly connection technology
- Space-saving, thanks to the narrow design
- Safety relay modules are part of the COMPLETE line system
If you only require a few safety functions in your machine, the PSR safety relay modules are the ideal safety solutions.
SIL coupling relays
The coupling relays with force-guided contacts are SIL-certified. They are used for electrical isolation and power amplification. Choose between the highly compact PSRmini version and the market standard PSRclassic version. With an overall width of just 6 and 12mm, the PSRmini coupling relays are the narrowest coupling relays on the market. The product portfolio features SIL coupling relays for safe switch-on (fire and gas) and for safe switch-off (emergency shutdown).
Safety relays
The safety relays reliably monitor the functional safety in your machine or system. When operating safety functions such as emergency stop, light grids, safety doors or two-hand-control you can choose between the proven standard PSRclassic or PSRmini devices. Or you can simply combine these product ranges to best suit your application.
Multifunctional safety relays
The multifunctional PSRmultifunction safety relays provide three safety functions, such as emergency stop, safety door or light grid monitoring, all rolled into one device. Thanks to two local sensor circuits and one higher-level sensor circuit, the 22.5mm wide safety relays provide a slim solution for many standard applications.
Zero-speed safety relay
Use the narrow PSRmotion zero-speed safety relay to monitor the zero speed of a dangerous movement without additional sensors. For example, a guard locking device can be controlled in this way. You can use the PSR-MM30 zero-speed and over-speed safety relay to monitor the speed of rotating parts in systems and machines. If a predefined speed is exceeded, the device shuts down safely.
Force-guided coupling relay
The force-guided coupling relays are basic devices for single-channel control. You can use the coupling relays for electrical isolation, power amplification, and for increasing the number of contacts. Like all PSR safety relay modules, the coupling relays are equipped with force-guided contacts in accordance with EN 50205. This means you can use the coupling relays to perform safe diagnostics via a force-guided N/C contact.
