Rittal Blue e+ Cooling Units
Rittal Blue e+ Cooling Units are currently the most efficient of their kind on the market. The manufacturer is now expanding its range of cooling units with the addition of a device with an output class of 1.6kW.
Besides being 75% more energy efficient than previous cooling solutions on average, the units also excel in terms of connectivity, safety and handling. With its Blue e+ cooling unit range, Rittal combines a compressor cooling unit and heat pipe, which provides passive cooling.
The control strategy for hybrid operation is a factor that has significant influence on huge efficiency gains. Also, the compression cooling system is highly energy efficient.
Frequency converters precisely adjust the speed of the systems fans and compressors by voltage control, allowing the cooling output to be tailored precisely the requirements at all times. This therefore cuts energy consumption significantly over conventional solutions.
Precise, variable-output cooling minimises thermal stress on components and constant temperature fluctuations are now a thing of the past. This not only increases the service life of the cooling units and enclosure components; it also means higher process reliability.
The new touchscreen control panel displays all key information, and system messages appear as plain text and are multi-lingual. Standardised communication interfaces ensure easy integration into a plants production control system.
Also Blue e+ cooling units can link to customer owned monitoring, energy management and/or super-ordinate systems, enabling predictive maintenance, data analytics and more.
