Rittal VX25 Large Enclosure System
After five years of development work, Rittal has unveiled its new VX25 large enclosure system at Hannover Messe 2018. It is the first enclosure system that has been fully developed to meet the requirements for increased productivity in control and switchgear manufacturing.
Rittal is the only company in the world that produces over one million enclosures a year.
With the ‘System Perfection’ slogan, Rittal is promising a major innovative leap, which has been made possible by depth of experience and intensive customer dialogue.
The VX25 offers the highest possible quantity and consistency of data, reduced complexity and savings in time, as well as safe assembly.
The main benefits of the new VX25 system are …
- Time Savings: Precise hold counting offers an easy point of orientation at all levels of the enclosure frame when fixing rails and punched sections in place.
- System Benefits: More assembly-friendly and efficient engineering thanks to a frame profile with a 25mm pitch pattern that is symmetrical across all levels and can be accessed from all sides.
- Simplification: Thanks to the new hinge, doors can be installed and removed incredibly easily and without needing any tools, thus eliminating the need to separately lock and unlock hinge bolts.
Parts lists from the earlier TS 8 enclosure system can now be easily turned into the VX25 parts list with the VX25 conversion assistant.
TS 8 parts lists from projects that are to be used again need merely to be loaded into the conversion tool as an Excel file by drag and drop on the Rittal website.
Rittal also provides further help in converting to its new large enclosure system with the easy and free download of detailed CAD data in more than 70 formats, enabling the flexible transmission of data to all common CAD systems.
Rittal has invested in new state-of-the-art production facilities in order to manufacture the new frame section of the VX25.
New and fully automatic profiling systems and volume production lines with a total of 31 welding and handling robots are witness to maximum quality combined with precision and stability.
The result is that the frame section of the VX25 is more stable than its predecessor, although the weight is the same.
DBI Control regularly use Rittal enclosures for our control panels and control systems as they are reliable, flexible and efficient – and we are thoroughly looking forward to using the new VX25 large enclosure system in 2019.
