Sick deTec2 Core Safety Light Curtains
Using safety light curtains in the workplace is a useful way to monitor large areas and should be used when continuous access to a danger area is accessed, for example manually operated machines.
There is a choice of safety light curtains to use, depending on the level of safety which is required, and the necessary function.
Large areas need to be safeguarded especially if there is a continuous package of goods (e.g. on a conveyor system) and knowing which safety light curtain is vital for the smooth running of your company.
The Sick deTec2 Core Safety Light Curtains, similarly to the deTec4 Core, operates protective heights of 300mm to 2100mm and temperatures between -30°C to +55°C.
The deTec2 Core gives the ultimate safety levels for the machine and the operator with a simple installation.
The safety light curtains are efficient to mount and are supplied with the 4 QuickFix bracket to allow users to attach it to the machines frame.

The deTec2 Core is a Type 2 according to IEC 61496, and has a resolution of 14mm or 30mm.
The enclosure rating of IP 65 and IP 67 and benefits your company with a quick commission, thanks to automatically calibrating the protective field width up to a 10 metre range, to avoid manual input.
Also the basic functioning without configuration will save your company time and money when servicing is required.
The deTec2 Core is suitable for machines that pose a low risk of injury or are accessed infrequently by the user, and also for machines with harsher conditions.
